Sublimation Heat Transfer Machine Operator

Job Purpose

Heat-Pressing and Quality Control

• Receive transfer paper and order details and verify fabric, quantity, measurements, direction, and print requirements.
• Inspect fabric before production for stains, marks, weaving defects, and incorrect measurements.
• Set heat-press temperature, pressure, speed, and timing for each fabric.
• Align materials, monitor pressing, and make approved adjustments when required.
• Inspect finished fabric for color consistency, alignment, damage, and overall print quality.
• Separate defective items and record damaged fabric, production errors, and material wastage.

Supplier Coordination

• Communicate with approved operational suppliers and request quotations.
• Confirm prices, place approved orders, and follow up on delivery dates.
• Check deliveries against purchase details, quantities, and agreed quality.
• Report shortages, damaged goods, incorrect materials, delays, and price differences.
• Organize supplier invoices, delivery notes, and receipts for the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Maintain supplier relationships without approving unauthorized expenses.

Packing and Dispatch

• Fold and pack completed fabrics according to company standards.
• Match packed orders with customer names, order numbers, quantities, and delivery details.
• Include required labels, invoices, care instructions, or promotional materials.
• Prepare orders for courier collection, customer pickup, or delivery.
• Update order status and separate completed, pending, defective, and returned orders.

Workspace and Equipment

• Keep the heat press, packing area, shelves, tools, and surrounding workspace clean and organized.
• Complete approved cleaning and basic maintenance of the heat press.
• Monitor fabric, packaging, labels, and other material levels.
• Follow heat-safety procedures and use protective equipment when required.
• Switch off and secure equipment correctly at the end of the working day.

General Responsibilities

• Assist with stock counts, receiving deliveries, printing, and other production work during busy periods.
• Follow daily production priorities set by the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Protect company and customer products from damage, dirt, moisture, or loss.

Required Skills and Experience

• Heat-press or textile production experience is preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to recognize fabric and printing defects.
• Strong organizational and supplier-follow-up skills.
• Ability to handle fabrics and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer and order-sheet skills.
• English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
• One year of sublimation experience is preferred.

Pay

• Pay is AED 2,500 to AED 3,500 per month.
