Guest Service and Sales
- Present the menu and explain portions, ingredients, and potential food allergies.
- Inform customers about daily specials and recommend menu items.
- Upsell additional products when appropriate.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests.
Order and Table Service
- Prepare and clean tables and maintain a tidy dining area.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using POS ordering software.
- Communicate order details to kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drink orders.
- Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation.
- Deliver checks and collect bill payments.
- Carry used plates, glasses, and silverware to the kitchen for cleaning.
Restaurant Coordination
- Review daily specials, menu changes, service specifications, and reservation details with restaurant staff.
- Follow all relevant health department regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a waitress or waiter.
- Hands-on experience with an ordering information system or POS.
- Attentiveness and patience for customers.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Active listening and effective communication skills.
- Team spirit.
- Flexibility to work in shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Food safety training is an added advantage.
- Two years of waiter or waitress experience is preferred.
Compensation
- Full-time position.
- Pay is AED 3,200 to AED 3,500 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
