Responsibilities
- Present menus and provide information about portions, ingredients, and potential food allergies.
- Prepare and clean tables.
- Inform customers about daily specials.
- Offer menu recommendations upon request.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using POS ordering software.
- Communicate order details to kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drink orders.
- Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area.
- Deliver checks and collect bill payments.
- Carry used plates, glasses, and silverware to the kitchen for cleaning.
- Review daily specials, menu changes, and reservation service specifications with restaurant staff.
- Follow health department regulations and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Waiter.
- Hands-on experience with the ordering information system, including POS software.
- Attentiveness and patience for customers.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Active listening and effective communication skills.
- Team spirit.
- Flexibility to work in shifts.
- Food safety training is an added advantage.
Compensation
- Pay is up to AED 3,200 per month.
Work Location
- The role is performed in person.
