Role Overview
Perform back-of-house cleaning and sanitation duties as a kitchen steward.
Maintain high standards of cleaning, hygiene, and sanitation at all times.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties assigned by the Head Chef according to established standards and schedules.
- Operate stewarding equipment, including dishwashing machines, safely and economically.
- Wash and polish dishes and operating equipment in food-and-beverage outlets.
- Clean pots, pans, and kitchen utensils according to hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and utensils while minimizing breakage.
- Clean and sanitize machinery and equipment.
- Keep kitchen areas clean, neat, tidy, and organized.
- Remove food waste and garbage as needed.
- Maintain required personal hygiene and grooming standards.
Requirements
- Follow established hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Use stewarding equipment safely and correctly.
- Maintain high personal hygiene and grooming standards.
- Candidates must be located in Dubai, UAE.
