Overview
- Al Wasmi Restaurant is hiring a full time Waiter cum Customer Support to work at our branch located in Al Ain near Bawadi Mall.
- The candidate must be fluent in Arabic and able to provide excellent service to customers within the restaurant, along with support in customer interactions and front desk duties.
Job Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Provide detailed information on menu items
- Perform various front of house duties and handle billing
- Work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Take customer orders at the counter
- Receive payments and give change
- Pack food in appropriate containers
- Respond to customer inquiries, issue receipts, and record feedback
- Act as a host/hostess in the restaurant
- Make reservations for customers
- Handle the cash register and manage cash/credit transactions
- Ensure the cash register balances at the end of the shift
Skills & Job Requirements
- Previous experience as a waiter and in customer support
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Patience, personality, and perseverance
- Experience with POS systems and cash registers
- Flexibility to work split shifts
- Attentiveness and patience toward customers
- Excellent grooming and presentation skills
- Good time management
- Strong listening and communication skills
- Knowledge of service procedures
- Food safety knowledge and certification (preferred)
- Arabic speaking is mandatory
