Responsibilities
- Support and oversee VPC operations, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, inventory control, vehicle inspections, yard management, shipment coordination, and production standards
- Proactively identify and resolve operational issues involving customers, vendors, and employees
- Report performance, challenges, and improvement recommendations to the VPC Manager
- Support and coordinate facility operations with departmental managers to achieve operational objectives
- Assist in developing and monitoring budgets, profit plans, and cost control measures
- Implement and monitor systems to optimize operating expenses, manpower costs, and minimize overtime and repair expenses
- Ensure effective maintenance, adjustment, and replacement of VPC equipment to meet operational needs
- Provide guidance and training to supervisors and staff to support company goals and objectives
- Promote shop and facility organization and cleanliness among staff
- Support operational planning, including labor allocation, cycle times, production costs, and delivery schedules
- Contribute to product strategy and support research & development initiatives
- Monitor production and quality control standards, supporting the achievement of cost, quality, and delivery targets
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of related experience
- Experience in VPC or similar operations
- Knowledge of budgeting, profit planning, and cost control

Overview
