- Arrange face to face meetings with industry decision makers to promote Argus price assessments
- Attend and speak at business conferences to promote awareness and usage of Argus services
- Help shape changes to price indexation to better reflect market realities
- Identify opportunities for launches of new price indexes based on industry feedback
- Observe and analyze commodity market trends in the oil product sector
- Coordinate regional strategy with other regions and business development managers
- Build strong relationships with industry leaders and oversee development programs
- Represent Argus at industry conferences and communicate with C suite and government stakeholders
Requirements
- In depth knowledge of oil markets
- 10+ years of experience related to supply, trading, pricing and/or analysis
- Bachelor's degree required
- Commercial experience in commodities with proven influencing and negotiating skills
- Experience promoting market data or business analytics services in energy related industries
- Willingness to travel up to 50 75% of the time

Role Overview
- Responsible for development of Argus’ oil product pricing in the Middle East and East African markets.
- Strategic industry facing role reporting to Head of MEISA.
- Engage with industry decision makers to promote Argus price indices in commercial contracts.
What You Will Be Doing
- Arrange face to face meetings with decision makers to promote Argus services.
- Attend and speak at business conferences to promote awareness.
- Help shape changes to price indexation.
- Identify opportunities for new price indexes.
- Observe and analyze oil product market trends.
- Coordinate regional strategy with other regions.
- Innovate and develop content including assessments and new reports.
- Build strong relationships with industry leaders.
- Communicate with Argus stakeholders on opportunities and challenges.
- Work closely with editorial on price methodologies.
- Represent Argus at industry conferences.
- Travel up to 50% of the time, including internationally.
Skills And Experience
- In depth knowledge of oil markets in trading, broker, analytical or related function.
- Commercial experience with proven record in influencing and negotiating.
- International experience working across Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
- Self driven, results oriented with focus on quality and commercial benefits.
- Mature, credible, able to influence senior executives.
- Empathic communicator.
- Well presented and business like.
- Mobile and flexible to travel 50 75%.
- Able to work independently.
- Ethical, fair, high integrity.
- Demonstrated ability to build long term client relationships.
- 10+ years experience in supply, trading, pricing and/or analysis.
