Job Overview

Trace Systems is seeking a Voice Engineer Lead to support the USMTM CITS contract in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The role sustains enterprise VoIP, analog, and long-haul voice services for daily and contingency operations.

Responsibilities

  • Administer Cisco Unified Communications Manager or another government-approved enterprise telephony platform.
  • Configure dial plans, calling search spaces, route patterns, hunt groups, and numbering plans.
  • Install and troubleshoot IP phones, gateways, analog adapters, media resources, voicemail, and related hardware.
  • Monitor call processing, registrations, trunks, gateways, alarms, health, and service availability.
  • Troubleshoot latency, jitter, packet loss, echo, codecs, signaling, routing, and voice-quality issues.
  • Coordinate with network, cybersecurity, systems, VTC, desktop, carriers, and headquarters teams.
  • Maintain technical records, diagrams, inventories, configurations, user instructions, and restoration procedures.
  • Support STIGs, vulnerability remediation, continuity, failover, disaster recovery, and alternate communications.
  • Respond to mission-critical outages and participate in maintenance windows and on-call support.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active, in-scope US Government-issued Secret clearance is required.
  • US citizenship is required due to contract requirements.
  • Meet applicable DoD 8140 requirements for System Administrator Work Role 451 at intermediate proficiency.
  • Five or more years of progressively responsible enterprise voice or unified communications experience.
  • Hands-on Cisco Unified Communications Manager or comparable enterprise telephony administration experience.
  • Experience with VoIP routing, dial plans, gateways, endpoints, analog interfaces, and troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, Quality of Service, voice protocols, and telecommunications documentation.
  • Ability to relocate to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Desired Qualifications

  • CCNA or Cisco collaboration certification, including CCNP Collaboration, is desired.
  • Experience supporting classified DoD, Army, CENTCOM, USARCENT, NETCOM, or DISA voice environments is desired.
  • Experience with CUCM, Unity Connection, gateways, SIP trunks, emergency calling, QoS, analog telephony, MDF/IDF, and carrier circuits is desired.
  • Experience implementing STIGs, patching, and RMF controls is desired.
  • Prior overseas, contingency, or military telecommunications experience is desired.
