About the Role

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize SIP routing tables and dial plans
- Configure and maintain SIP trunks with telecom carriers, partners, and enterprise customers
- Manage inbound and outbound call routing to ensure service efficiency and reliability
- Analyze and resolve routing issues affecting voice services and interconnections
- Support number portability and routing configurations
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for complex voice and signaling issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve call setup failures, one way audio, no audio, SIP registration failures, call drops, SIP signaling errors
- Analyze SIP traces, PCAP captures, CDRs, syslogs, and network logs
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
- Configure, administer, and optimize SBC platforms for SIP normalization, security enforcement, NAT traversal, topology hiding, interoperability management
- Support and maintain SBC platforms such as AudioCodes, Ribbon, Oracle, Cisco, Huawei
- Monitor and analyze voice quality metrics including jitter, latency, packet loss, MOS
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ISP Voice Engineering, VoIP Operations, Carrier Telecommunications, or Unified Communications Environments
- Strong knowledge of SIP, RTP, RTCP, SDP, SIP Registration and Authentication, Codec Negotiation and Media Handling
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing and Switching, NAT, Firewalls, DNS, DHCP, MPLS Networks
- Hands on experience with IP PBX Systems, Softswitches, Session Border Controllers (SBCs), SIP Proxy Servers, Media Gateways, Carrier Voice Infrastructure
- Experience using Wireshark, SIP Trace Tools, Network Monitoring Platforms, PCAP Analysis Tools, CDRs, Syslog Analysis Tools
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
- Ability to work independently and within cross functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced operational environment

Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced VoIP Routing & SBC Engineer to manage, optimize, and support carrier grade voice services and SIP interconnection platforms.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for SIP routing design, Session Border Controller (SBC) administration, voice quality optimization, carrier interconnectivity, and advanced troubleshooting of VoIP services.
- This role requires strong expertise in SIP signaling, IP networking, SBC platforms, voice quality monitoring, and carrier telecommunications environments.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting mission critical voice infrastructures and delivering high service availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize SIP routing tables and dial plans.
- Configure and maintain SIP trunks with telecom carriers, partners, and enterprise customers.
- Manage inbound and outbound call routing to ensure service efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ISP Voice Engineering, VoIP Operations, Carrier Telecommunications, or Unified Communications Environments.
- Experience supporting carrier grade voice networks and SIP infrastructure.
- Proven experience managing SBC platforms and voice routing environments.
Technical Skills
