Role Overview
BCG X teams manage the analytics value chain from framing business challenges through algorithm design, implementation, deployment, and AI adoption.
The intern will join an engineering team building next-generation AI solutions across industries and BCG regions.
What You Will Do
- Partner with clients on climate change and other topics to design, build, and deploy innovative solutions.
- Apply software development practices and standards to develop robust and maintainable software.
- Participate in every part of the software development lifecycle.
- Guide non-technical teams and consultants in software development best practices.
- Optimize the computational efficiency of algorithms and software designs.
- Interact directly with clients on new features for future product releases.
- Collaborate with teams to share software design and solution ideas.
- Develop thought leadership, papers, and conference presentations for scientific communities.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a university master’s or PhD program in Computer Research Science, Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field.
- Passion for software development, large-scale data analytics, and AI-led organizational transformation.
- Ability to solve problems, work collaboratively, and remain intellectually curious across industries and topics.
