What You'll Do
- Frame business challenges, design algorithms, implement solutions, and deploy scalable AI systems.
- Build the next generation of AI solutions as part of the engineering team.
- Partner with clients across regions and industries on innovative solutions.
- Develop and deliver thought leadership in scientific communities and papers.
- Lead conferences on behalf of BCG X.
- Apply software development practices and standards to develop robust and maintainable software.
- Participate in every part of the software development lifecycle.
- Guide non-technical teams and consultants on software development best practices.
- Optimize computational efficiency of algorithms and software design.
- Interact directly with clients on new features for future product releases.
- Collaborate with teams to share software design and solution ideas.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a university master's or PhD program in Computer Research Science, Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field.
- Programming experience in Python.
- Experience applying software development practices and standards to build robust, maintainable software.
- Ability to participate across the software development lifecycle.
- Ability to guide non-technical teams and consultants on software development best practices.
- Ability to optimize computational efficiency in algorithms and software design.
- Interest in client-facing, collaborative, fast-paced work and broad industry problem solving.
