Role Overview
- Help build the next generation of AI solutions as part of BCG X’s engineering team.
- Partner with clients across regions and industries on innovative solutions, including work related to climate change.
- Support end-to-end analytics work, including business problem framing, algorithm design, implementation, and scalable deployment.
Engineering Responsibilities
- Apply software development practices and standards to develop robust and maintainable software.
- Participate in every part of the software development lifecycle.
- Guide non-technical teams and consultants on robust software development practices.
- Optimize the computational efficiency of algorithms and software designs.
- Collaborate with teams to share software design and solution ideas.
Client and Thought Leadership Work
- Work directly with clients on new features for future product releases in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
- Develop and deliver thought leadership in scientific communities and papers.
- Lead conferences on behalf of BCG X.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a university master’s or PhD program in computer research science, data science, statistics, operations research, or a related field.
