About the Role
We are seeking a Virtualization Engineer to design, implement, and operate enterprise-grade virtualization platforms with a focus on Nutanix. You will lead architecture, hybrid/multi-cloud integration, disaster recovery, and software-defined networking.

Responsibilities
- Design and maintain enterprise virtualization architecture standards with a primary focus on Nutanix platforms.
- Define blueprints for compute, storage, and software defined networking components.
- Ensure designs support scalability, performance, security, and operational efficiency.
- Lead the design, deployment, and operation of Nutanix AHV, AOS, and Prism environments.
- Provide hands on expertise in Nutanix cluster design, lifecycle management, and upgrades.
- Design and support hybrid and multi cloud virtualization environments.
- Design and operate highly available virtualization platforms, including active active datacenter architectures.
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery solutions using synchronous and asynchronous replication.
- Design and operate software defined networking solutions within virtualized environments.
- Implement and maintain centralized management, monitoring, and automation platforms.
- Perform capacity planning, performance optimization, and lifecycle management.
- Lead virtualization initiatives end to end including new builds, upgrades, migrations, and consolidations.
Requirements
- 8 10 years of experience in enterprise virtualization and infrastructure environments.
- Strong hands on experience with Nutanix platforms in production environments.
- Proven experience designing and operating active active data center architectures.
- Solid experience in hyperconverged, hybrid and multi cloud virtualization environments.
- Strong understanding of disaster recovery, business continuity, and high availability concepts.
- Hands on experience with software defined networking and centralized infrastructure management.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Nutanix certifications (NCP, NCM, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
- Network defined / software defined networking certification is strongly preferred.
- Cloud foundation certifications are desirable but deep Azure or GCP specialization not required.

- Ensures highly available, scalable, secure, and resilient hybrid and multi cloud virtualization environments.
- Provides hands on technical leadership and acts as key interface with infrastructure, network, and application teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain enterprise virtualization architecture standards with primary focus on Nutanix platforms.
- Define blueprints for compute, storage, and software defined networking components.
- Ensure designs support scalability, performance, security, and operational efficiency.
- Participate in architecture reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
- Lead the design, deployment, and operation of Nutanix AHV, AOS, and Prism environments.
- Provide hands on expertise in Nutanix cluster design, lifecycle management, and upgrades.
- Ensure optimal configuration and utilization of Nutanix infrastructure components.
- Design and support hybrid and multi cloud virtualization environments.
- Integrate on premises virtualization platforms with public cloud services where required.
- Support cloud adjacent and cloud integrated workloads without requiring deep hyperscaler specialization.
- Design and operate highly available virtualization platforms, including active active datacenter architectures.
