Role Summary
Responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- **Monitor network using tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG**
- **Handle incidents, alerts, and outages within SLA**
- **Perform L1/L2 troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, MPLS, VPN)**
- **Log and track tickets in ServiceNow/Remedy**
- **Escalate issues as per process**
- **Coordinate with internal teams and vendors**
Skills Required
- **Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI Model, subnetting**
- **Basic routing & switching (BGP, OSPF)**
- **Familiarity with Cisco/Juniper devices**
- **Knowledge of monitoring & ticketing tools**
- **Good communication and problem-solving skills**
Qualifications
- **Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field**
- **CCNA or equivalent (preferred)**
