The Viral Content Copywriter turns robotics stories into social-first video content that audiences want to watch, share, and discuss.
The role focuses on finding strong creative angles and producing powerful copy for short-form video.
What You Will Do
- Write hooks for Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form video platforms.
- Create video briefs for journalists, correspondents, and videographers filming on location.
- Write headlines, on-screen copy, scripts, captions, and social copy.
- Develop creative angles, story questions, challenges, experiments, and scenarios for field teams.
- Simplify complex robotics and technology subjects accurately and engagingly.
- Create multiple hook and headline variations and select the strongest approach.
- Identify human, surprising, emotional, controversial, or unexpected angles for robotics stories.
What We Are Looking For
- Be an exceptional writer with a deep understanding of social media attention and viral storytelling.
- Understand hooks, scroll-stopping headlines, short-form storytelling, curiosity gaps, audience retention, emotional triggers, and shareability.
- Be able to simplify complex subjects without sacrificing accuracy.
- Be able to identify the strongest story angle and explain why audiences would care.
Preferred Experience
- Experience writing for high-growth social media accounts, digital publishers, media companies, or viral video brands is highly preferred.
- Experience in robotics or technology is advantageous, but exceptional writing ability and viral-content instincts are more important.
