Role Overview
Maintain, repair, and inspect concrete pumps, mechanical pumps, and batching plant equipment.
Support efficient and safe equipment operation while minimizing downtime.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair concrete pumps and site pumps.
- Maintain mixers, conveyor belts, motors, pumps, and valves in batching plants.
- Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic faults and perform necessary repairs.
- Inspect hydraulic systems, hoses, fittings, and connections for leaks or defects.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance according to the maintenance plan.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and minimize equipment downtime.
- Replace damaged, defective, or worn-out parts when required.
- Ensure equipment is ready and safe for operation before use.
- Record maintenance and repair activities, including spare parts used.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Engineer on major faults and spare parts requirements.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations during maintenance and equipment operation.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or technical certificate in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, mechanical maintenance, or a related field.
- Practical experience maintaining concrete pumps, pumps, and batching plants.
