Role Overview
Lead and continuously enhance the Internal Audit Function across Kerzner International's global portfolio of ultra-luxury hospitality properties.
Evaluate governance, risk management, internal controls, compliance, fraud risk management, cybersecurity oversight, ESG governance, and operational efficiency.
Report functionally to the Audit Committee and administratively to the CEO.
Internal Audit Leadership and Strategy
- Develop and maintain a multi-year Internal Audit Strategy aligned with Group objectives, stakeholder expectations, and emerging risks.
- Establish a vision and roadmap for a best-in-class Internal Audit Function aligned with GIAS and leading international practices.
- Ensure the audit function remains agile and responsive to changing business conditions, geopolitical developments, economic risks, and hospitality industry trends.
- Develop annual risk-based audit plans for approval by the Audit Committee.
- Present strategic priorities, budgetary and resource requirements, and audit outcomes to the Audit Committee and Executive Leadership.
Role Requirements
- Ensure full conformance with The Institute of Internal Auditors' Global Internal Audit Standards.
- Provide independent and objective assurance and advisory services to the Board of Directors, primarily through the Audit Committee.
- Provide insights and recommendations to Executive Management to support strategic objectives.
- Maintain organizational independence and objectivity while promoting a strong ethical culture.
