Schedule and compensation

  • Compensation: $21-26 per hour, for each hour worked
  • This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Saturday, with Saturdays being rotating.

Minimum qualifications and skill set

  • 2+ years of veterinary assistant or related role preferred
  • Proficiency in the following skills: Safe animal handling and restraint skills for dogs and cats of varying sizes and temperaments Ability to assist with exams, treatments, and outpatient procedures Experience collecting patient histories and obtaining patient weights and vital signs preferred Ability to maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation Strong organizational and time management skills Compassionate, professional communication with clients and team members Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and restrain patients safely throughout the workday Commitment to exceptional patient care and client service

We’ve provided generations of pets individualized care, from wellness exams and dental care to surgery, ultrasound, laser therapy, urgent care, nutritional counseling, and more.
