Role Overview

Manage and coordinate vendor activity across production, logistics, and supply chain functions.

Ensure materials and components are delivered on time and vendor performance aligns with supply and demand forecasts.

Provide reporting, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on support across the production-to-logistics handover cycle.

Team and Stakeholder Coordination

  • Partner with operational, supply chain, finance, logistics, retail services, and vendor teams.
  • Communicate production updates, risks, and schedule changes to internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to seasonal planning and product launch timelines.

Demand and Customer Impact

  • Coordinate retail demand versus capacity planning and escalate issues when needed.
  • Support Value-Added Services requirements so products meet quality and presentation standards.
  • Track shipments and update stakeholders on delivery status.
  • Support product availability in line with fan and customer demand.

Reporting and Process Improvement

  • Support automation and operational best practices to improve vendor management efficiency.
  • Produce reports on vendor performance, production status, and cost metrics.
  • Support data-driven decisions through accurate reporting and analysis.
  • Assist with import/export documentation and improve logistics workflows where applicable.

Production and Logistics Execution

  • Manage production schedules and ensure materials and components are replenished and delivered to vendors on time.
  • Coordinate shipments, delivery schedules, and documentation with logistics teams.
  • Provide regular reporting on production and vendor schedules.
  • Support the Supply Chain function with additional tasks needed to keep operations running smoothly.

AI and Digital Capability

  • Apply AI and technology to improve efficiency, quality, and outcomes.
  • Use data and digital tools to inform decisions and enhance performance.
  • Adopt new technologies and ways of working with curiosity and adaptability.
  • Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience in a relevant manufacturing, vendor management, or supply chain role.
  • Experience managing competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience using ERP software or similar supply chain management systems.
  • Familiarity with materials management, production scheduling, and logistics coordination.
  • Comfort working remotely with vendors as part of a distributed supply chain team.

Work Location

  • The role is hybrid and is based at the company's Manchester office.
  • The role currently requires in-office presence three days per week.
