Role Overview
UXPective is hiring a UX Events Lead to own its events vertical as a member of the core team.
The role is a leadership and ownership position focused on defining strategy, setting systems, and building a distributed events network.
The role is structured as a contractual partnership with profit-share rather than a salaried position.
Work Arrangement
- The role is remote and can be performed from anywhere.
- The role has no fixed hours; performance is measured by events delivered rather than time spent.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the events vertical end to end, including strategy, calendar, formats, and distribution.
- Set systems and standards for running UXPective events.
- Recruit, onboard, and direct city ambassadors across multiple cities.
- Own distribution and growth beyond a single city.
- Decide on event formats, speakers, and expansion cities.
- Lead direction and build the system while the team and ambassadors handle posters, outreach, and logistics.
