Responsibilities

• Develop and support urban planning strategies, master plans, and development proposals.
• Analyze land use, population growth, transportation, infrastructure, and development trends.
• Prepare planning studies, feasibility assessments, reports, maps, and presentations.
• Review development proposals against planning policies, regulations, and design standards.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, developers, government authorities, and consultants.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Urban Planning, City Planning, Regional Planning, Architecture, Geography, or a related field is preferred.
• Three or more years of relevant urban planning or development experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of land-use planning, zoning, master planning, and development principles.
• Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, or other planning and mapping tools is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, research, and report-writing skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Strong understanding of sustainable urban-development principles.
• Ability to interpret planning documents, maps, drawings, and development proposals.
• Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and strategic-thinking abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
