We are looking for a skilled and experienced Upholsterer / Upholstery Technician to join our team.
The candidate will be responsible for upholstering and repairing sofas, chairs, benches, headboards, and other furniture items, ensuring high-quality finishing and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform upholstery work on sofas, chairs, cushions, headboards, and custom furniture.
- Measure, cut, and fit fabric, leather, and other upholstery materials.
- Remove old upholstery and replace foam, padding, and coverings.
- Sew and stitch upholstery materials as required.
- Ensure proper alignment, fitting, and finishing of upholstered furniture.
- Repair and restore damaged upholstery.
- Follow project specifications and maintain quality standards.
- Coordinate with the production and installation teams.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an upholsterer or upholstery technician.
- Experience in sofa, furniture, and custom upholstery work.
- Knowledge of fabric cutting, stitching, foam fitting, and furniture finishing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and quality.
- Candidates with UAE experience are preferred.
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per hour
