About the Role
AIG is hiring an Underwriting Assistant to support underwriters in Dubai. The role involves data entry, policy issuance, and communication with brokers. Candidates should have strong communication skills, a service-oriented approach, and general insurance knowledge.

Responsibilities
- Assist underwriters with key support activities such as communicating with Brokers, Cedants and client, inputting data for renewals, issuing decline letters, updating trackers, generating policy documents and certificates of insurance
- Preparing accurate booking instructions ensuring data accuracy and resilience
- Work closely with all functions within the company in addition to underwriting, such as Accounts Receivable Finance, Compliance, Marketing, etc
- Assist in underwriting of new and renewal business in accordance with underwriting guidelines, relevant underwriting authority and AIG principles
- Maintain accurate files, registers and records to contribute to management reporting and timely service and policy issuance

- Service oriented approach & positive attitude towards excellent customer service (for both internal & external stakeholders)
- Excellent Analytical and reporting skills
- General Insurance knowledge

- AIG Underwriting assistants (UA) are the right hands of the underwriters.
- UAs work closely with AIG Underwriters to support business growth and AIG’s vision of underwriting and provide an exceptional operational excellence to customers, brokers, intermediaries, and internal/external business partners.
How You Will Create An Impact
