- Provide promptly and commercially sensitive, pragmatic and practical high quality legal support and advice to business stakeholders
- Provide support and guidance on legal risks arising in the assigned scope
- Proactively advise on the impact of regulatory and legislative developments
- Be the key point of contact for regulatory interaction within the assigned scope
- Coordinate outside legal resources on key projects
- Provide functional advice or training to less experienced attorneys
Requirements
- Degree in Law
- Experienced practitioner able to handle complex to administrative issues
- Up to date knowledge of developments in the insurance industry
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage own workload independently
- Strong command of both Arabic and English
- Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel

About the Role
- Provide promptly and commercially sensitive, pragmatic and practical high quality legal support and advice in a cost effective manner to the business stakeholders on the assigned Gulf and North Africa Cluster operations.
- Provide support and guidance to Cluster operations and the wider legal function with regards to legal risks arising in the Assigned Scope.
- Proactively advise Cluster operations and the wider legal function on the impact of regulatory and legislative developments.
- Ensure that appropriate stakeholders are fully briefed on major issues and legislative changes.
- Be the key point of contact for regulatory interaction within the Assigned Scope.
- Coordinate outside legal resources on key projects under supervision.
- Provide functional advice or training to less experienced attorneys.
- Maintain and develop positive and professional working relationships with all team members.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Law.
- Experienced and confident practitioner able to understand and deal with a wide range of issues.
- Up to date knowledge of developments in own industry sector.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to work in a team but able to manage own workload independently.
- Motivated self starter with experience of managing a demanding workload.
- Knowledgeable and proficient use of personal computer and MS Office applications.
- Typing in Arabic & English.
- Strong command of both Arabic and English.
- Strong client relation skills.
