Tomsher Technologies is seeking a UI/UX Designer / Developer to design and implement user-friendly websites, web applications, and mobile applications.
The role combines user-centered design, front-end implementation, responsive interfaces, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Design and collaboration
- Create responsive, intuitive, and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Work with product managers, designers, and developers to gather requirements and turn them into functional, attractive designs.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and similar design tools.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and user-feedback activities to refine design decisions.
Front-end implementation
- Implement UI designs using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, Vue.js, Node.js, and modern front-end frameworks.
- Ensure designs are responsive, optimized for screen sizes, and compatible across browsers, platforms, and devices.
- Improve application performance through optimization of speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Keep up to date with UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.
Experience and core qualifications
- 3–9 years of experience in UI/UX design, front-end development, or a similar role.
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks such as React, Vue.js, and Node.js.
- Strong proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, and other UI/UX design tools.
- Understanding of responsive design using CSS3, SASS, Bootstrap, Flexbox, and Grid.
- Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility and consistent performance across platforms and devices.
- Experience with user-centered design, wireframes, prototypes, and user research.
- Ability to apply good SEO practices when designing websites.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
Additional technical skills
- Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, or similar CMS platforms is a plus.
- Proficiency with Git and familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Experience with GSAP, Framer Motion, or CSS animations is relevant to UI transitions and interactions.
- Knowledge of mobile-first design principles is relevant to web and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with Express or similar server-side frameworks is a plus.
- Experience with Lighthouse or Webpack for performance optimization is relevant.
