Role overview
Support quality assurance during payment projects and corporate channel initiatives within a bank.
Collaborate with delivery teams to validate functionality against business requirements before release.
Responsibilities
- Create UAT test cases, scenarios, and steps aligned with business requirements, user journeys, and user stories.
- Formulate the UAT strategy and execute test cases collaboratively.
- Document defects, verify fixes, and communicate testing results to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work directly with subject matter experts and project teams.
- Follow the decision authority established within project execution and obtain Channel Manager approval for significant testing decisions.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
- 3–4 years of experience as a tester within the corporate banking payments domain.
- Experience with cash management products and online banking portals is required.
- Experience with Escrow Management Systems, transaction banking platforms, virtual account solutions, and end-to-end escrow processes is advantageous.
Skills and tools
- Test strategy development.
- Test case creation.
- Proficiency with JIRA, MS Excel, MPP, MS Visio, and HP-QC.
