About the Role
Sun Star Travel & Tourism is seeking an experienced Travel Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations in Dubai. The role involves managing travel operations, supplier relationships, reservations, holiday packages, and customer service while leading an operations team.

Responsibilities
- Manage end to end travel operations from enquiry to post travel support.
- Oversee holiday packages (FIT & GIT), air ticketing, hotel reservations, visa processing, airport transfers, tours, and travel documentation.
- Ensure all bookings are processed accurately and delivered on time.
- Handle operational escalations and provide timely resolutions.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the Operations, Reservations, Sales Support, and Customer Service teams.
- Set KPIs, monitor team performance, and maintain service excellence.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hotels, airlines, DMCs, transport providers, and tourism partners.
- Negotiate competitive rates and supplier agreements.
- Ensure high quality service delivery from all partners.
- Improve operational processes and implement best practices.
- Monitor booking accuracy, productivity, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 5 years of experience in a Travel Agency, DMC, Tour Operator, or Tourism Company
- Strong operational knowledge of Holiday Packages, Air Ticketing, Hotel Reservations, Visa Processing, Airport Transfers, Tours & Excursions, Corporate Travel
- Hands on experience with Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, Travelport or similar travel reservation systems
- Strong knowledge of the UAE travel market, suppliers, and tourism industry
- Proven experience leading an operations team
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities

About the Role

Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Travel Agency, DMC, Tour Operator, or Tourism Company.
- Strong operational knowledge of Holiday Packages (Inbound & Outbound), Air Ticketing, Hotel Reservations, Visa Processing, Airport Transfers, Tours & Excursions, Corporate Travel.
- Hands on experience with Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, Travelport, or similar travel reservation systems.
- Strong knowledge of the UAE travel market, suppliers, and tourism industry.
- Proven experience leading an operations team.

Preferred Qualifications
- Currently based in Dubai or available to relocate immediately.
- Experience working with international suppliers and DMC partners will be an advantage.
