About the Role
Sun Star Travel & Tourism seeks an experienced Travel Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations in Dubai. The role manages end-to-end travel operations, supplier relationships, and a team, requiring 3-5 years of experience in a Travel Agency, DMC, or Tour Operator.

Responsibilities
- Manage end to end travel operations from enquiry to post travel support
- Oversee holiday packages (FIT & GIT), air ticketing, hotel reservations, visa processing, airport transfers, tours, and travel documentation
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the Operations, Reservations, Sales Support, and Customer Service teams
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hotels, airlines, DMCs, transport providers, and tourism partners
- Negotiate competitive rates and supplier agreements
- Improve operational processes and implement best practices
- Monitor booking accuracy, productivity, service quality, and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Minimum 3 5 years of experience in a Travel Agency, DMC, Tour Operator, or Tourism Company
- Strong operational knowledge of Holiday Packages (Inbound & Outbound), Air Ticketing, Hotel Reservations, Visa Processing, Airport Transfers, Tours & Excursions, Corporate Travel
- Hands on experience with Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, Travelport, or similar travel reservation systems
- Strong knowledge of the UAE travel market, suppliers, and tourism industry
- Proven experience leading an operations team
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities

About the Role
- We are looking for an experienced, hands on Travel Operations Manager to lead the day to day operations of our Dubai based travel company
- The ideal candidate must have proven experience managing travel operations, supplier relationships, reservations, holiday packages, and customer service while leading an operations team
- This is a leadership role for someone who can take ownership, solve operational challenges, and ensure a seamless customer experience
Key Responsibilities Travel Operations
- Manage end to end travel operations from enquiry to post travel support
- Oversee holiday packages (FIT & GIT), air ticketing, hotel reservations, visa processing, airport transfers, tours, and travel documentation
- Ensure all bookings are processed accurately and delivered on time
- Handle operational escalations and provide timely resolutions
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the Operations, Reservations, Sales Support, and Customer Service teams
- Set KPIs, monitor team performance, and maintain service excellence
- Recruit, train, and develop team members
Supplier & Vendor Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hotels, airlines, DMCs, transport providers, and tourism partners
- Negotiate competitive rates and supplier agreements
- Ensure high quality service delivery from all partners
Business Operations
- Improve operational processes and implement best practices
- Monitor booking accuracy, productivity, service quality, and customer satisfaction
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the customer experience
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Travel Agency, DMC, Tour Operator, or Tourism Company
- Strong operational knowledge of: Holiday Packages (Inbound & Outbound), Air Ticketing, Hotel Reservations, Visa Processing, Airport Transfers, Tours & Excursions, Corporate Travel
