Position Overview
The Transportation Supervisor provides safe transportation services to hospital staff, patients, and employees' dependents.
The position supervises the Transportation Division and maintains hospital vehicles and transportation operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt and safe transportation and ensure passenger safety through responsible driving.
- Maintain hospital vehicles through regular checks, repair, and maintenance.
- Supervise and control the Transportation Division's daily activities.
- Coordinate vehicle repair and maintenance with the workshop.
- Coordinate fuel coupons with the gasoline station.
- Receive approved requisitions and sign necessary departmental documents.
- Instruct the Assistant Transportation Supervisor and drivers.
- Dispatch vehicles and drivers according to approved trip schedules.
- Report damaged vehicles to the Support Services Manager.
- Implement policies and procedures supporting quality and performance improvement.
- Perform other tasks within the position's competence as directed by management.
Requirements
- At least five years of recent experience driving cars and light-duty vehicles.
- Experience driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
- At least one year of supervisory experience.
- High school certificate.
- Valid Saudi driving license.
- Computer literacy.
- Good communication skills in English and Arabic.
- No history of prosecutions for serious driving offenses is desirable.
