Role overview
CIMA+ is seeking an Engineer to work on power line structures and transmission and distribution projects.
The opportunity is designed for someone developing technical skills and career growth within the Energy & Resources team.
The role operates under project manager supervision and provides mentorship toward project management.
Primary responsibilities
- Take responsibility for specific aspects of power transmission line structure projects under supervision.
- Prepare studies, technical reports, estimates, and information for drafting.
- Coordinate and supervise technicians and draftsmen.
- Perform quality control and manage project planning and administrative follow-up.
- Participate in service offers, project site visits, and construction site supervision when required.
- Build client relationships and develop toward project management with mentor support.
Requirements
- University degree in civil engineering.
- Minimum two years of structural design or power transmission line experience is identified as an asset.
- Knowledge of PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and PLS-TOWER is an asset.
- Substation or line structure design experience and project management experience are assets.
