Responsibilities
- Implement, run, govern and control transition programs from inception to completion
- Manage risk and minimize potential failure by planning and ensuring execution of testing, training and change management activities
- Undertake due diligence investigations to determine exact client requirements
- Establish positive relationships with client stakeholders and engage with them regularly
- Plan and coordinate engagement sessions with the client
- Identify resource requirements for the transition project and negotiate use of resources
- Perform as a people manager to the cross functional transition team

Overview
- The Transition Manager is responsible for supporting the management and coordination of the activities of the team in the completion of a transition project.
- This role ensures that transition projects adhere to all required governance processes, utilizes the correct tools and that client requirements are met.
- The Transition Manager supports with fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Implements, runs, governs and controls transition programs from inception through to completion.
- Manages risk and minimizes potential failure by planning and ensuring the execution of all testing, training and change management activities.
- Undertakes due diligence investigations to determine exact client requirements.
- Works according to standard and set project management methodologies to plan and manage the execution of service and outsource transition projects.
- Establishes positive relationships with the client stakeholders and engage with them on a regular basis.
- Plans and coordinates engagement sessions with the client and prepare for and facilitate these sessions.
- Ensures that all parties remain informed throughout the process by ensuring that the required communication and reports are prepared and distributed on a regular basis.
- Identifies resource requirements for the transition project and negotiate and agree the use of the resources.
- Performs as a people manager to the cross functional transition team, developing team members to grow in their roles.
- Fosters a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on operational excellence.
