Position Overview:
The Trainer, under the guidance of the Manager, Training, will instruct Aircraft Maintenance related subjects and collaborate with internal customers to source and/or design effective training programs. Subject topics may vary from skill-based requirements acrosss various departments (ie. Aircraft and Component-level Maintenance (Production), Materials, Engineering).
What You Will Do:
- Develop and deliver training using a variety of instructional techniques, training aids and hands-on practical exercises on a variety of topics primarily related to aircraft, aircraft maintenance, component maintenance and possibly other related skills such as Aerial Platform use, First Aid, etc.
- Work collaboratively with the Learning and Development team and internal customers to design and/or source training solutions.
- Liaise with internal and external subject matter experts in the preparation of course material.
- Prepare on the job (OJT) training programs for delivery.
- Prepare testing and examinations associated with theoretical and practical aircraft instruction.
- Coach and mentor SMEs and junior team members in training delivery skills.
- Maintain records and generate reports within Learning Management Systems.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to Apprentices as required.
- Perform other duties as required.
