Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of traffic management measures, signage, markings, and signals on road construction projects
- Review traffic management plans and work zone layouts to identify risks and recommend mitigation measures
- Monitor traffic flow and patterns near construction sites and assess impact on road users
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to coordinate traffic management strategies
- Implement traffic control measures such as lane closures and detours in accordance with approved plans
- Conduct traffic impact assessments and modeling to predict effects of construction activities
- Investigate traffic incidents and recommend preventive measures
- Provide guidance and training to construction teams on traffic management procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in traffic management, transportation planning, or related fields
- Proven track record of working with top international construction consultants
- Strong understanding of traffic engineering principles and traffic control devices
- Professional certifications or licenses in traffic management are advantageous

Job Description
- WSP is seeking a proficient Traffic Inspector to ensure efficient flow of traffic and safety of road users on construction projects in Riyadh.
- The successful candidate will conduct traffic inspections, implement traffic management plans, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of traffic management measures, signage, markings, and signals.
- Review traffic management plans, temporary traffic diversions, and work zone layouts.
- Monitor traffic flow and patterns near construction sites.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to coordinate traffic management strategies.
- Implement traffic control measures such as lane closures, detours, and temporary signals.
- Conduct traffic impact assessments and modeling.
- Investigate traffic incidents, accidents, and near misses.
- Provide guidance and training to construction teams and traffic control personnel.
- Stay abreast of industry developments and best practices.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certifications or licenses in traffic management are advantageous.

- Strong understanding of traffic engineering principles, traffic control devices, and traffic management techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
