Typical Responsibilities

• Provide piping discipline expertise and perform engineering assignments involving complex tasks.
• Apply piping layout, materials, stress analysis, and relevant software or calculation templates.
• Produce specifications, calculations, reports, technical requisitions, drawings, and other engineering deliverables.
• Create and review designs, drawings, specifications, and applications involving existing and new technology.
• Interpret specifications, investigate difficulties, and solve technically demanding problems.
• Review vendor documents and participate in design reviews.
• Manage discipline cost and schedule requirements, coordinate work, and prepare progress reports.
• Develop alternative solutions, identify risks and benefits, and modify standard methods where needed.
• Provide technical input and support to proposals as required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 15+ years of experience.
• Mining industry experience is preferred.
• Proven field engineering experience in site-based or project environments.
• Strong understanding of engineering, construction, and field operations in industrial or mining projects.
• Experience with major projects completed in an S3D/E3D environment.
