Responsibilities
- Perform thermodynamic analysis of gas turbines, combined cycle plants, and auxiliary systems
- Evaluate plant and equipment performance, efficiency, heat rates, and energy losses
- Develop and validate thermal models for power generation systems
- Analyze operational data and identify opportunities for performance improvement
- Support troubleshooting activities related to turbine performance, combustion, and heat balance issues
- Conduct performance testing and prepare technical reports and recommendations
- Collaborate with mechanical, controls, and operations teams to optimize plant performance
- Support feasibility studies, upgrades, retrofits, and energy efficiency initiatives
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, engineering practices, and safety requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in thermodynamics, power generation, gas turbines, steam turbines, or combined cycle plants
- Strong understanding of Thermodynamic Cycles (Brayton, Rankine, Combined Cycle), Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Energy Efficiency Analysis, Performance Testing & Evaluation
- Experience with thermal modeling and engineering analysis tools
- Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and technical reporting skills

Overview
- We are seeking a highly motivated Thermodynamics engineer to join a leading engineering team supporting advanced power generation and gas turbine projects.
Key Responsibilities

- Gas Turbine OEM, Power Plant, EPC, or Energy Industry background
