- Cover a specialist outpatient caseload of patients from 0 18 with complex acute and chronic neurological diagnoses
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate therapy programs for children under care using evidence based practice
- Work in close collaboration with MDT Teams and other allied health care team members
- Provide evidence based care by integrating research with practice
Requirements
- Skills and knowledge in management of tone in upper extremity using splinting, casting, mCIMT, and Botox are advantageous
- Ability to work autonomously with guidance and indirect supervision
- Ability to work in close collaboration with MDT teams

Job Overview
- We are recruiting a Junior OT in Neurology/Neurodisability!
- The OT I Neurology/Neurodisability will cover a specialist outpatient caseload of patients from 0 18 with complex acute and chronic neurological diagnoses.
- Will also play a role in tertiary level Movement Disorders, Brachial Plexus Injury and Neuromuscular Multidisciplinary clinics.
- This role is a junior practitioner in the team with support for complex Neurodisability provided by the OT Neurodisability Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tertiary level outpatient neurology and neurodisability OT services to pediatric patients.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate therapy programs for children under their care using evidence based practice.
- Work autonomously with guidance and indirect supervision for the OT II (Senior OT).
- Work in close collaboration with the MDT Teams for each diagnostic group and other members of the allied health care team.
