Role Summary

  • The Therapeutic Area Partner (TAP) Immuno oncology Riyadh is a field based role responsible for facilitating scientific exchange with healthcare professionals (HCPs) in oncology.
  • The TAP will serve as the primary point of contact for HCPs, enabling meaningful, timely, and scientifically appropriate engagement.
  • The TAP is expected to spend a minimum of 90% of working time in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Disease Awareness and Treatment Landscape expertise: Maintain a high level of disease expertise; collect and synthesize large volumes of clinical data; understand the treatment landscape.
  • Scientific Engagement and Product related Communication: Develop and implement a comprehensive territory plan; prepare effectively for presentation and discussion of information with HCPs; respond to unsolicited scientific and product related questions.
  • Product Enlistment and Economic Value Engagement: Develop hospital mapping; understand and develop the patient journey; collaborate closely with key HCPs to support timely access and formulary enlistment; communicate scientific and economic value.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration and Execution: Build strong working relationships; develop and deliver plans aligned with cross functional team and product objectives; deliver scientifically meaningful programs.
  • Compliance: Promote and uphold a culture of compliance; adhere to all internal and external rules and regulations.

Key Competency Requirements

  • High level of scientific acumen, including the ability to interpret and present clinical data.
  • Demonstrates independence and initiative in further developing scientific expertise.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment.
  • Ability to adapt rapidly to an evolving environment.
  • Ability to plan and execute effective learning programs for HCPs.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare system and access environment in Saudi Arabia.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including negotiation and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic language skills.

Degree Requirements

  • Pharmacist with relevant pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience, Master’s degree is considered an asset.
  • Saudi Commission for Health Specialties valid license.
  • Saudi Nationals only.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a scientific role within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Oncology experience is preferred.
