Role Summary

  • Senior Medical Advisor Neuroscience based in Dubai, part of Medical Affairs Team.
  • Provides bridge between clinical research and cross functional Brand Team.
  • Responsible for planning and execution of scientific projects related to medical communication and education.

External Environment and Customer Focus

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with scientific experts/Thought Leaders.
  • Develop content and present information to HCPs ensuring medical accuracy and compliance.
  • Profile medical landscape and update knowledge on products, treatment trends, and clinical trials.
  • Collect and provide medical insights to support strategy development.

Medical Planning/Execution

  • Deliver scientifically meaningful medical programs and ensure execution of medical activities.
  • Lead cross functional collaboration to embed medical perspective.
  • Provide knowledge and insight to shape strategy for Head Office and local commercial teams.
  • Discuss and deliver HEOR evidence based information reactively.
  • Represent medical as a key reference point for internal stakeholders for Neuroscience.

Compliance

  • Endorse and implement a culture of compliance.
  • Adhere to all internal and external rules and regulations.
  • Alert management or Compliance Department to possible compliance issues.
  • Act as a role model demonstrating ethical and professional behavior.

Degree Requirements

  • Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD).

Experience Requirements

  • Working in a medical/scientific role with 5+ years experience.
  • Expert knowledge of Neuroscience.
  • Expert experience in the Neuroscience health care environment in the Gulf countries.
  • Ability to communicate scientific or clinical data effectively.
  • Ability to develop and manage HCP relationships.
  • Developing field medical plans aligned with medical and product objectives.
