Responsibilities
- Facilitate scientific exchange with healthcare professionals in oncology
- Develop and implement a comprehensive territory plan in accordance with agreed metrics and KPIs
- Maintain a high level of disease expertise and collect clinical data insights
- Respond to unsolicited scientific and product related questions using internally approved tools
- Develop hospital mapping to enable tailored plans for each hospital
- Understand and develop the patient journey for each hospital to identify access barriers and facilitate formulary enlistment
- Communicate the scientific and economic value of BMS products to HCPs
- Discuss and deliver Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) evidence based information to relevant stakeholders
- Build strong working relationships with key external and internal stakeholders
- Deliver scientifically meaningful programs related to disease areas
- Adhere to all internal and external rules and regulations and promote a culture of compliance
Requirements
- Pharmacist with relevant pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience
- Saudi Commission for Health Specialties valid license
- Saudi Nationals only
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a scientific role within the pharmaceutical industry
- Oncology experience preferred
- Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic language skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills

Role Overview
- The Therapeutic Area Partner (TAP) Immuno oncology Riyadh is a field based role responsible for facilitating scientific exchange with healthcare professionals (HCPs) in oncology.
- The TAP will serve as the primary point of contact for HCPs, enabling meaningful, timely, and scientifically appropriate engagement.
- The TAP is expected to spend a minimum of 90% of working time in the field, engaging with HCPs through relevant interactions and activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Disease Awareness and Treatment Landscape expertise: Maintain a high level of disease expertise, collect and synthesize clinical data, understand treatment landscape.
- Scientific Engagement and Product related Communication: Develop and implement territory plan, prepare for discussions with HCPs, respond to unsolicited questions.
- Product Enlistment and Economic Value Engagement: Develop hospital mapping, understand patient journey, communicate scientific and economic value, deliver HEOR information.
- Cross Functional Collaboration and Execution: Build strong relationships, develop and deliver plans aligned with cross functional team objectives.
- Compliance: Promote and uphold a culture of compliance, adhere to all rules and regulations.

- High level of scientific acumen, including ability to interpret and present clinical data.
- Demonstrates independence and initiative in developing scientific expertise and building rapport.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and collaborate closely with cross functional teams.
- Ability to adapt rapidly to an evolving environment.
- Ability to plan and execute effective learning programs for HCPs.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of the healthcare system and access environment in Saudi Arabia.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including negotiation and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic language skills.
Degree and Experience Requirements
- Pharmacist with relevant pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience, Master’s degree is considered an asset.
- Saudi Commission for Health Specialties valid license.
- Saudi Nationals only.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a scientific role within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Oncology experience is preferred.
