Inspection & Testing
- Perform inspections and functional testing on fire alarm, sprinkler, special hazard, fire extinguishers and other life safety systems in accordance with NFPA standards and local codes.
- Verify proper operation of all devices, control panels, and suppression/discharge mechanisms.
- Conduct main drain, flow, trip, and alarm tests as applicable.
- Identify system deficiencies and provide recommendations for corrective action.
Documentation & Reporting
- Complete detailed inspection and testing reports accurately and on time.
- Maintain clear records of deficiencies, repairs, and system upgrades.
- Provide necessary documentation to customers and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).
Customer Service
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding inspection results, system status, and required repairs or maintenance.
- Provide professional recommendations for improvements, code compliance, or system enhancements.
- Coordinate scheduling of follow-up repairs with service teams.
Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety policies at all times.
- Ensure all inspections are conducted in compliance with NFPA, local building codes, and manufacturer requirements.
- Keep up to date on code changes, industry best practices, and product updates.
