Role Overview
The company is seeking a qualified and experienced Tendering Manager.
The role focuses on tendering and estimation within the contracting and construction industry.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering is required.
- At least 10 years of tendering and estimation experience in contracting and construction is required.
- Strong experience with infrastructure works, buildings, and transmission line projects is required.
- Experience in cost estimation, bid preparation, quantity take-off, and technical and commercial proposal development is required.
- Knowledge of contracts, tender documents, BOQs, and technical specifications is required.
Tendering Responsibilities
- Review tender requirements and prepare competitive technical and commercial bids.
- Lead tendering teams and oversee the overall tendering process.
- Review and approve cost estimates, pricing strategies, and proposals before submission.
- Manage multiple tenders, priorities, deadlines, and bid submissions.
Additional Capabilities
- Knowledge of market prices, material and subcontractor rates, and construction pricing trends is required.
