Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering is required.
- The candidate must have 5–8 years of experience in a tendering and estimation department within the contracting and construction industry.
- Strong experience is required in cost estimation, bid preparation, quantity take-off, and technical and commercial proposal development.
- Relevant project experience includes infrastructure works, building construction, and transmission pipeline projects.
- Good knowledge is required of contracts, tender documents, BOQ take-offs, and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills are required.
- The candidate must have full knowledge of market pricing.
Responsibilities
- Perform tendering and estimation activities for contracting and construction projects.
- Prepare cost estimates and competitive bids.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and review bills of quantities.
- Develop technical and commercial proposals.
- Review contracts, tender documents, and technical specifications.
- Apply market pricing to support competitive proposal preparation.
