Role Overview
The company is hiring a Tamil-speaking telesales representative for its sales team.
The role focuses on outbound calls, customer needs analysis, financial product recommendations, lead conversion, and sales target achievement.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to company-provided leads.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable financial products or services.
- Explain product features, benefits, eligibility, and application procedures.
- Build relationships, follow up with leads, and handle questions and objections.
- Convert leads into customers or successful applications.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales and conversion targets.
- Maintain lead information and call records in the CRM.
- Coordinate customer onboarding and application processing with internal teams.
- Follow sales procedures and applicable compliance requirements.
Requirements
- One to three years of telesales, telemarketing, inside sales, or customer acquisition experience is preferred.
- Financial services, banking, loans, credit cards, insurance, or related industry experience is advantageous.
- Fluent Tamil is mandatory, and good spoken English communication skills are required.
- Strong communication, persuasion, negotiation, objection-handling, closing, follow-up, and customer relationship skills are required.
