Telephone Operator / CID Data Entry

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming and outgoing hotel calls promptly, courteously, and professionally.
• Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and call transfers.
• Maintain accurate CID guest-registration data and complete daily data entry.
• Coordinate with Front Office and other departments when required.
• Maintain guest-information confidentiality.
• Follow hotel standards, procedures, and UAE guest-registration requirements.
• Provide excellent service and maintain a professional telephone manner.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a hotel Telephone Operator, CID Data Entry Agent, Front Office employee, or in a similar role is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills are required.
• Arabic language skills and a good command of English are required.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays is required.
• A professional appearance and positive attitude are required.
• Previous experience in a four- or five-star hotel is preferred.

Preferred Knowledge

• Knowledge of Opera PMS is advantageous.

• The position is based at Copthorne Hotel Sharjah on Al Buhaira Corniche in Sharjah, UAE.
