Role Overview
The Telecom Engineer will support a project involving telecom infrastructure, secure connectivity, network architecture, provisioning, and deployment.
The contract is for six to twelve months and may be extended.
Required Expertise
- Telecom infrastructure design and implementation.
- Secure connectivity solutions.
- MPLS network architecture.
- VLAN design and segmentation.
- Firewall configuration and security policies.
- VPN setup and secure tunneling.
- 4G/5G communications systems.
Responsibilities
- Define telecom and network requirements based on project needs.
- Coordinate end-to-end telecom scope across stakeholders and vendors.
- Design and implement secure communication links and network architecture.
- Manage network provisioning and ensure smooth deployment.
- Develop IP addressing plans and network segmentation strategies.
- Configure and support VLANs, firewalls, and VPN solutions.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve telecom and network issues during the project lifecycle.
