Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot telecom and ELV systems.
- Install and maintain CCTV, access control, fire and gas detection systems, and related equipment.
- Perform cable laying, termination, dressing, testing, and basic fault identification.
- Assist with system configuration, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Read technical drawings, layouts, and wiring diagrams.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of installed systems.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and site teams to complete assigned work.
- Maintain installation, testing, maintenance, and site activity records.
- Follow HSE procedures and project requirements when performing work.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant experience as a Telecom or ELV Technician.
- Hands-on experience with CCTV, access control, fire and gas systems, and telecom or ELV installations.
- Experience with installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of low-current systems.
- Previous oil and gas, petrochemical, industrial, or EPC project experience is preferred.
- Ras Laffan experience is advantageous.
- Good understanding of technical drawings, cabling, and system wiring.
- Knowledge of HSE requirements and industrial site practices.
- Good troubleshooting and teamwork skills.
