Location and Duration
- The role is based in Doha, Qatar.
- The assignment has a seven-month duration.
- Candidates must be in Qatar with a valid QID.
- The successful candidate must be able to join immediately.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is required.
- At least 12 years of experience as a Planning Engineer or Senior Planning Engineer on major construction or infrastructure projects is required.
- Experience across buildings, roads, or infrastructure projects is a strong advantage.
- Advanced Primavera P6 proficiency and strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills are required.
- Power BI experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of CPM scheduling, earned value management, forensic delay analysis, and FIDIC-based contract and claims processes is required.
- PMP or an equivalent project management certification is preferred.
- Qatar or GCC market experience and a valid Qatar driving license are preferred.
- Strong written and spoken English and effective reporting, coordination, and stakeholder communication skills are required.

Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule major construction or infrastructure projects.
- Apply CPM scheduling and earned value management methods.
- Conduct forensic delay analysis and support FIDIC-based contract and claims processes.
- Prepare project reports and management and client presentations.
- Coordinate planning activities with project stakeholders.
- Communicate technical planning information clearly to management and clients.
- Meet tight reporting deadlines while working under pressure.
