Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support mission-critical production environments with high availability and reliability.
- Monitor application, infrastructure, and platform health using enterprise monitoring tools.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex production incidents and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
- Develop automation scripts and workflows to reduce manual operational tasks.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and configuration management best practices.
- Collaborate with Development, QA, Security, and Product teams to improve deployment processes and operational readiness.
- Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response during critical outages.
- Drive continuous improvements in system performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity processes.
- Ensure systems comply with security, governance, and compliance standards.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
- Mentor junior TechOps engineers and provide technical leadership during complex initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in Technology Operations, Infrastructure Engineering, or DevOps.
- Strong experience administering Linux and/or Windows servers.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, or ELK.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, DNS, load balancing, VPNs, and firewalls.
