The Opportunity
Perform advanced sanitation of production equipment in a regulated food production environment.
Support food safety, hygiene, regulatory compliance, and an audit-ready facility.
Advanced Sanitation Execution
- Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble production equipment according to SSOPs.
- Clean hard-to-reach and high-risk zones and follow the Master Sanitation Schedule.
- Conduct or support ATP swab testing to verify cleaning effectiveness.
- Mix and apply chemicals safely and operate washers, foamers, floor scrubbers, and other industrial equipment.
- Identify equipment damage, wear, and sanitation risks and report them to leadership or maintenance.
Compliance and Documentation
- Complete sanitation checklists, logs, and verification records accurately.
- Maintain GMP compliance and follow HACCP, WHMIS, health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Participate in internal and external audits as required.
Team Support and Leadership
- Guide Sanitation Associates in cleaning techniques and safety practices.
- Train new team members on equipment-specific cleaning procedures.
