Supervisor, Sanitation

Workplace and Schedule

• The role is on-site at the facility and requires in-person support of sanitation operations.
• The shift runs from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
• Flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays may occasionally be required.

Education and Certification

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• HACCP and WHMIS certification is necessary, with willingness to obtain stated in the posting.
• Post-secondary education in Occupational Health and Safety, Food Science, or a related field is an asset.
• GMP or Food Safety certification is an asset.

Experience and Knowledge

• Three to five years of sanitation leadership experience in food manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, or a regulated production environment is required.
• Experience with sanitation teams, MSS execution, ATP testing, SSOPs, audits, regulatory compliance, and frontline staff development is required.
• Microsoft Office experience is required for reporting and scheduling.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, chemical safety, food safety regulations, and corrective actions is required.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift, push, pull, and carry up to 40–50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb for extended periods.
• Work in wet, cold, hot, noisy, and dusty environments while using required PPE.
